Battling Fat Lads

The Battling Fat Lads are a charity football team founded in 2016. In December 2018 we were approached to play our first 11 aside game and for us this meant we required a kit. We previously had a brightly coloured "off the peg" kit but we knew we needed to make a statement. We had to stand out from other grassroots football teams with our aim to gain sponsorship to raise money for many worthy causes. Our kit is our identity. The whole point of it is that it is ridiculous and gets noticed. This is where Ian worked his magic. Despite us not knowing, SK Kits created exactly what we wanted. What we needed. A completely bespoke kit, expertly designed. Constant communication throughout the process. Ian’s attention to detail is second to none. From the socks saying “Fat Lads” up the back to the badge integrated and sublimated into both of our Goalkeeper shirts. This is what makes our kit so special. Ian designed, produced and delivered our kits in 4 weeks despite the Christmas period.That wasn’t the last time Ian provided great service. We were chosen to play in the Charity Champions League, and again SK at short notice managed to deliver us another 10 shirts with names and numbers in a variety of long and short sleeves. We are so pleased with the service, design and most of all we know SK Kits care about us.
